Wild & Well Festival was created with the pillars of community, connection, and collaboration at it's core.

Every year we come together to co-create this portal is a reminder of the importance of these spaces – sober, independent festivals that prioritise community over commercial. We trust that everyone who shows up to this event is exactly who is meant to be there, and we are in no rush to expand as we know it will happen organically and authentically.

We made the decision to step away from sponsorship, brand partners, and paid content creators to maintain the integrity and align with the values we strive to uphold. While we don’t believe there is anything wrong with these aspects being a part of a festival frame, they simply do not feel right for this particular space.

Our core team is completely voluntary, and all funds that are brought in go towards covering the costs of materials, stretch tents, venue hire, sound and lighting, facilitators, performers, speakers, insurance, health and safety, sanitisation, and everything else required to bring this vision together.

We are beyond thrilled with how the size and scope of this festival continues to grow, however as many independent festivals in Ireland have experienced, it has been challenging to meet the financial requirements through ticket sales alone, as that is how we cover our costs. Over the last two years, just over half of our running costs have been covered by ticket sales. The remaining balance has been covered personally by our founder, Jenn, and while she is grateful to be able to work throughout the year to ensure costs are covered, this is not financially sustainable moving forward.
