Community.
Connection.
Collaboration.

Wild & Well Festival was born from a desire to experience a deeper sense of community, connection, and collaboration here in the Wild West, and these are now the pillars we continue to nourish and uphold every year.

As a substance-free festival, we invite authenticity and curiosity to take centre stage, offering spaces for you to meet and nurture the tender, playful, and creative parts of yourself in a supportive environment.

Each time we gather there is a stronger sense of connection with the land and the language of this land. Whether it’s dancing to trad music underneath ancient trees or sharing craic agus ceol around the sacred fire, this is a space for you to return to your roots.

Wild & Well Festival is an intimate independent festival, prioritising community over commercial, striving to support, expand, and celebrate the ever-growing community we have locally here in Sligo as well as across Ireland and overseas.

Join us in September for heartfelt connections, groovy tunes, deep rest, and child-like play.

What to Expect.

Each gathering is intentionally curated to invite you on a journey. With a stellar line-up of live music and performances, inspiring talks and demos, creative workshops, somatic, shamanic, and tantric practices, mindful movement, breathwork, dance, and so much more, all wrapped in a blanket of spaciousness to allow preparation and integration, this is more than just a festival - it is a portal, an opportunity to catapult and catalyse, to be held and to let go.

Wild & Well offers an immersive experience with on-site camping available from Friday until Monday. All workshops, performances, and talks are included in your festival ticket. Food vendors will be serving nourishing bites and delicious non-alcoholic drinks throughout the weekend, and our community market is the perfect place to support local businesses with beautiful offerings. Our sauna will be hot and ready for you to warm your bones with weekend or drop-in passes available. The heart of Wild & Well is the sacred fire, tended to with love throughout the entire weekend, where you can stop for a cup of tea and a chat any time you desire.

Who is this for?

This gathering is about celebrating the full spectrum of this human experience, and honouring every version of it.

Wild & Well is not for any particular type of person. There are no prerequisites - you do not need to practice yoga, meditate, or consider yourself spiritual or physically ‘fit’ to join. Whether you are seeking a weekend of stillness and rest or one filled with high energy and physical release, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get exactly what you need from our experience together.

Many folks come to Wild & Well solo and leave with a soul family, and others come with a group and journey entirely on their own. The energetic design of the weekend ensures there are ample opportunities to connect with new people if that’s what you choose, just as there are plenty of opportunities and spaces to be with yourself.

We recommend coming with a curious mind and an open heart, and only require that each person treats themselves, each other, and the land with respect, and honours the integrity of the space as a substance-free festival.

About Our Venue.

Annaghmore Estate is a historic country manor house in Collooney, County Sligo, that is home to Durcan & Nics O’Hara. The spaciousness of this land is truly special - from the expansive views over hills and fields to the ancient trees that invite a sense of steadiness and belonging, we are deeply grateful for the trust the O’Haras have put in us by welcoming us with open arms.

Our stretch tents offer shelter in the open fields in front of the house, while our main stage area is supported by the surrounding Oak and Lime Trees. Two rooms in the Main House are transformed into CREATE and ROOT, sanctuaries for more intimate workshops and explorations. The back garden is calm and quiet, the perfect place to rest your bones, and the community market is bustling during the day just outside the house.

Our venue is designed so that spaciousness takes centre stage - even when we are at full capacity, it should never feel crowded, and there will always be a space to rest in stillness and solitude if desired.
